Thursday 29th Sept, 2022: Taos and the Enchanted Circle
Thursday was moving day for the Oil Drippers. After 4 nights at the Inn of the Governors in Santa Fe, we were to move on to Espanola, about 30 minutes north. It was also to be the longest driving day of the tour, as we planned to take the "High Road" to Taos, visit the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, and complete the Enchanted Circle drive before heading south to Espanola. Four of the six cars took the High Road to Taos, with a fifth joining us in Taos. The high road was a pleasant scenic drive, though certainly not as scary as we had been (mischievously?) led to believe.
